Travel Grants for Postdocs by UniBund Göttingen
The Universitätsbund Göttingen provides travel grants for conference trips which can be applied for at any time, as long as there is sufficient advance notice (usually 4 weeks) before the start of the trip. The travel costs and conference fees will be only partially covered. The applicant and the institute/research department are expected to cover an appropriate share of the expenses.
Funding is primarily provided for trips by talented young researchers to attend scientific events, conferences or congresses (NOT summer schools) where they present their research in a talk or poster contribution. Participation in the conference trip must be in the direct interest of an institution of the University of Göttingen.
