The German Council of Science and Humanities (WR) has published a position paper on reforming academic career structures in Germany including the proposed S1-S4 career model and recommendations on permanent positions. The paper has generated significant attention across the German higher education landscape. It is now available in English. A blog by the GPN Advocacy Group contextualises the paper for postdocs.
