Max Planck Postdoc Program (apply by 13 April 2026)
The Max Planck Postdoc Program bundles open postdoc positions in all Max Planck Institutes to provide talented early career researchers with a range of attractive opportunities to advance their careers in science. Contracts are guaranteed for three years at least and you will have access to a targeted mentoring program, career workshops (academia, industry, etnrepreneurship), career development and coaching offers provided by the Planck Academy.
Applications are accepted twice a year – on 1 March and 1 September. Each call for applications will remain open for six weeks. This structured approach aligns with international standards and better matches the timelines when potential candidates complete their degrees and seek their next career step.
