ScheringPlus Fellowships 2026 (apply by 28 Feb 2026)
The new fellowship program ScheringPlus supports outstanding PhD students and “young” postdocs (up to two years after their doctorate) in the life sciences in Berlin and Brandenburg. It aims to foster creativity, independence and career development by encouraging interdisciplinary perspectives.
The fellowships have a duration of three years. Funding includes up to 12,000€ in total for individual research support and networking. The funds can be used flexibly for research stays, conference attendance, further training, event organization, procurement of research materials, data collection, open-access publications, and activities in science communication. The Schering Stiftung awards up to 12 Schering Plus Fellowships per year.
Applications can only be submitted online until 28 Feb 2026.
