Save the date: Göttingen Campus Postdoc Support and Information Fair (19 Mar 2026)
The next Postdoc Support and Information Fair will take place on 19 March 2026 from 14:30 to 17:30h in the Foyer of the Physics Building. The event is organised by postdocs for postdocs – to inspire, inform and support their next career steps. Everyone interested is welcome: the event is also useful for researchers, science managers and others.
The respective webpage (Postdoc Fair Webpage) will be updated soon with information on stalls, guests and events. But as in previous years you can expect to chat with:
Representatives from companies – find out how to apply or what they are looking for
- Experts from the Campus to ask about a range of issues such as
- applying for grant-funding, research fellowships or international exchanges
- open science and responsible research practices
- teaching and learning
- mentoring
- applying for jobs
- tech transfer, starting your own business or developing an invention
- Individuals in the career café to find out about their own career journey – in or out of academia
- Experts in science communication to explore ideas like science slamming to public events to social media
