HERizon: Support program for women who want to start a business (apply until 15 Jan 2026)
HERizon offers aspiring female entrepreneurs professional support and a wide range of events to help them develop their start-up ideas and skills in a tailored manner. Over the 10-month programme period (starting 1 March 2026), participants will have access to the following activities and services (subject to funding approval):
– Individual consultation with a start-up advisor (mandatory)
– Mentor match: Individual support from an experienced female entrepreneur
– Workshop series on entrepreneurial skills and soft skills (4 workshops, 2 of which are elective)
– Numerous networking events (4 of which are elective)
– Access to the StartupKit learning platform, 60 modules on topics relevant to start-ups
– Special workshops for postdocs and international female scientists
In addition, 5 x 3-month scholarships can be awarded in the amount of: €2,500/month for university graduates or €3,000/month for doctoral graduates if they work no more than 20 hours per week. Additionally, €150/month per child.
