Are you working on an innovative project in materials science or engineering? The SAMPE Innovation Award is now open for applications – and it might be the perfect opportunity for you to gain international recognition for your academic work.
Who can apply?
Bachelor’s, Master’s, Diploma, or PhD students that deals with:
- Innovative applications of materials
- Novel processing techniques
- Promising future combinations of composite materials

- Award ceremony at the SAMPE Symposium 2026 in Bayreuth, Germany
- Project pitch at the SAMPE European Student Chapter (Fall 2026)
- If selected: fully funded trip to the SAMPE International Conference in the USA
- 1.000,-€ prize money

- All travel, accommodation, and meal expenses are covered by SAMPE e.V.
