GAUSS/GGNB “Affinity Designer Beginners’ course” (30 Sept 2025)
The Georg-August University School of Science (GAUSS) offers an Affinity Designer Beginners’ course in September 2025 for which there are still some slots available. In this compact course, the participants learn from scratch how to use the vector based graphic software Affinity Designer. No prior knowledge is necessary.

Read more: GAUSS/GGNB “Affinity Designer Beginners’ course” (30 Sept 2025)After an introduction about the differences of pixels and vectors, they quickly get to know the workspace and start understanding the most important tools to create and organize their own shapes. They learn how to exactly align the elements of each page, how to add color, draw paths, create more complex shapes and place type or pictures. In the output chapter they also find out how to save documents for print or web usage.
Exercises after each chapter help to internalize the input. Questions are always welcome and there is enough time for individual help. Handouts will be given to each participant in the beginning of the course.
