Online event “What defines a Postdoc?” (6 May 2025)
The German Postdoc Network is organizing a PostDoc Definition Workshop on 6 May 2025, an interactive online event trying to define the term “Postdoc” more clearly, which could help address some of the ambiguity that exists around the role of a Postdoc in Germany, and ultimately make it easier for them to navigate their careers and access the support they need.
The workshop is an excellent opportunity for postdocs to directly influence how the term is understood and what it means within the context of the German research system.
