GAUSS Career online workshops on Academic Grant Writing (4 & 5 March 2025, respectively)

In March the GAUSS Career Service is offering two online workshops on the topic Academic Grant Writing. The workshops have a different approach to the topic and are tailored for different target-groups. We scheduled both workshops nearly in parallel so that you can really book the one which is most suitable for you.
The first one “How to plan and write a competitive research proposal” by Dr Thomas Koch (4 March) is tailored for those who are currently actively writing a research grant proposal or want to start within in the next three months knowing already for which funding scheme they are going for.
The second one “Third-party funding and proposal writing” by Dr Neela Enke (5 March) is targeting those who are keen to learn more about grant writing and the different schemes but are not in the immediate process of writing and will use this workshop to learn what is needed to be successful and what schemes would be suitable.
Please check out below further details on both workshops and choose carefully for which one you apply. Based on our experience over the last years, it is particularly crucial for both workshops that the target group is rather coherent than diverse concerning the phase of the grant writing process you are in. If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us via career@gauss.uni-goettingen.de.
