The German Postdoc Network (GPN) is an exciting development for researchers in Germany. This nationwide network will have its virtual kick-off on 17 September 2024 at 13:00 during Postdoc Appreciation Week (PAW2024). The Networks aim is to establish a robust platform enabling postdocs to represent their interests and positively impact their careers and well-being in Germany. The Volkswagen Foundation has approved funding under their “Pioneer Projects – Impetus for the German Research System” for the next three years to establish the network and firmly anchor its activities in the German scientific system.
