ENLIGHT is an alliance of ten European universities, including the University of Göttingen, aiming to transform higher education and empower learners as globally engaged citizens. Together they seek to implement joint strategies for innovation in research and teaching. ENLIGHT is focused on six global challenges: Health and well-being, Digital revolution and Impact of digitalization, Climate change, Energy and Circular Economy, and Equity. Within the network, ENLIGHT RISE (Research and Innovation agenda with and for Society) focuses on strengthening its research and innovation activities.
