Göttingen Campus Postdoc Support and Information Fair (14 March 2024)
Melissa Sollich (Coordinator of the Postdoc Network of the Göttingen Campus) just announced the date of the next Postdoc Support and Information Fair, which will take place on 14 March 2024 from 14:30 to 17:30h in the Physics Building. The Postdoc Fair Webpage will soon be updated with information on stalls, guests and events. Registration will open soon.
The idea behind the fair is that you can chat with
- Representatives from companies – find out how to apply or what they are looking for
- Experts from the Campus to ask about a range of issues such as
- applying for grant-funding, research fellowships or international exchanges
- open science and responsible research practices
- teaching and learning
- mentoring
- applying for jobs
- tech transfer, starting your own business or developing an invention
- Organisations, such as the Max Planck Society and the German Scholars Organisation
- Experts in science communication to explore ideas like science slamming to public events to social media or the Forum Wissen – the knowledge museum of the University
- Individuals in our Career café to find out about their own career journey – in or out of academia
This event is designed by postdocs for postdocs but everyone is welcome so feel free to pass onto other researchers. Details will appear here.
