Call for programme proposals: “Night of Science” (until 28 Mar 2025)
Knowledge is a driving force in Göttingen and its surrounding region. From natural sciences to humanities and social sciences, the city offers a wealth of exciting topics to explore across various locations, including the central and north campuses, University Medical Centre, and external sites like HAWK and Sartorius. The “Night of Science” invites you to discover these subjects, offering the chance to engage with scientists and receive expert answers to your questions.
In 2022, 25.000 visitors participated in the event, which showcased the innovative work happening at Göttingen’s scientific institutions. Attendees explored everything from artificial intelligence and Lego microscopes to ancient Mesopotamian temple construction and research using gummy bears. It was a unique opportunity to dive deep into science in a fun and interactive way.
The next “Night of Science” will be held on 21 June 2025, with programme proposals open until 28 March 2025.
