Guided tours Forum Wissen: Heart & Brain (Aug 2024)
How does a „plaster“ work for the heart? What do the cells and tissues of this vital organ look like under the microscope? And what connects the heart to the brain?
The current special exhibition „Heart & Brain – Understanding Together“ provides insights into the fascinating research of the Cluster of Excellence „Multiscale Bioimaging: From Molecular Machines to Networks of Excitable Cells (MBExC)“. Even if these two vital organs appear very different at first glance, heart and nerve cells share a surprising number of physiological similarities. The guided tour with researchers from the Cluster of Excellence has background information and in-depth insights in store for you.
