Call for registrations: WoCaNet 2025, Women’s Careers and Network Symposium (4-5 Jun 2025 – deadline 16 May)
The 9th Women’s Careers and Networks (WoCaNet) symposium will take place on 4 – 5 June 2025 at the MPI Faßberg Campus in Göttingen! Bachelors, Masters, PhD students and Postdocs are very welcome. WoCaNet’s vision is to empower women and non-binary individuals across all fields of study, and this year’s symposium will be hosted at the MPI Faßberg Campus (Göttingen).
One highlight happening before the symposium in June is the Zoom talk from Dr. Emma Robinson, Head of Research Department of Biomedical Computing, group leader of the MeTrICS Lab, King’s College London, which researches perinatal health and neurodevelopmental impairment on 9 May 2025.
The symposium itself will start on 4 June 2025 with three workshops organized for women and non-binary individuals. Interest in attending workshops can be indicated on the registration form. The main symposium will begin on the 5 June 2025 featuring keynote speakers from academia, industry and politics, a career fair, a panel discussion on addressing inequality in science (with a small working group session), and networking opportunities to tie the events over the two days together. All genders are welcome on 5 June. Childcare will also be available, so please indicate your interest on the registration form.
