2nd Forum of the European Physical Society (25-27 Mar 2024)
The registration for the second European Physical Society (EPS) Forum 2024 is now open!
The EPS Forum will take place in the Henry Ford Building of Freie Universität Berlin (FUB), Germany between 25 and 27 of March 2024.
Students are invited to register for a reduced rate of 25€, registration gives access to conferences and round tables on a variety of topics in physics, plus events tailored to students and early career researchers.
The EPS will support the travel and lodging expenses of 100 students. Apply via https://www.epsforum.org/accommodation/
The programme includes presentations and discussions on the following topics:
– Atomic, molecular and optical physics for quantum technologies
– Applications of nuclear and particle physics to society
– Condensed matter and applications to industry
– Energy management, pollution and climate; Artificial intelligence, brain inspired processing systems and applications
– Photonics.
Plenary speakers will include Anne L’Huillier, laureate of the 2023 Nobel Prize in Physics, Klaus von Klitzing, laureate of the 1985 Nobel Prize in Physics, Stefan Hell, laureate of the 2014 Nobel Prize in Chemistry and Nicola Spaldin, member of the ERC Scientific Council and laureate of the 2017 L’Oréal-UNESCO Award for Women in Science.

A poster session will provide a showcase for physics students to present their latest scientific results. Authors are invited to submit their poster now.
