Andrea D. Bührmann ist zur Vorsitzenden des Universitätsrats der Universität Erfurt gewählt worden
Der Senat der Universität Erfurt hat unsere Institutsdirektorin Prof. Dr. Andrea D. Bührmann in seiner Sitzung am 12. Juli in den Universitätsrat der Universität Erfurt gewählt. Die Wahl erfolgte auf gemeinsamen Vorschlag durch das Präsidium der Universität Erfurt und das Thüringer Ministerium für Wirtschaft, Wissenschaft und Digitale Gesellschaft. Die vierjährige Amtszeit begann am 1. Oktober 2023. In der konstituierenden Sitzung am 3. November 2023 wurde Andrea D. Bührmann zur Vorsitzenden des Universitätsrats gewählt (Pressemitteilung der Universität Erfurt).
Der Universitätsrat gibt Empfehlungen zur Profilbildung der Universität Erfurt und zur Schwerpunktsetzung in Forschung und Lehre sowie zur Weiterentwicklung des Studienangebotes. Darüber hinaus nimmt der Universitätsrat unter anderem Stellung zum Beispiel zur Grundordnung, bestätigt den Wirtschaftsplan, stellt den Jahresabschluss fest und entlastet das Präsidium, nimmt den Jahresbericht des Präsidiums entgegen und wirkt bei der Findung, Wahl und Abwahl von Präsident*in und Kanzler*in mit.
Andrea D. Bührmann has been elected to the University Council of the University of Erfurt
The Senate of the University of Erfurt has elected our Institute Director Prof. Dr. Andrea D. Bührmann to the University Council of the University of Erfurt. Her election on 12th July 2023 was jointly suggested by the Presidium of the University of Erfurt and the Thuringian Ministry for Economy, Science and Digital Society. The term of office lasts four years and started on 1st October 2023. In its inaugural meeting on 3rd November 2023, the University Council elected Andrea D. Bührmann as its chairwoman (University of Erfurt press release).
The University Council makes recommendations on the profile of the University of Erfurt and on the priorities in research and teaching as well as on the further development of the course offerings. Additionally, the University Council makes statements, confirms the economic plan, approves annual financial statements, accepts the Presidium’s annaul report and participates in the selection, election and deselection of the President and the Head of Administration.
