Dr. Jördis Grabow hält am 25. Januar 2024 um 19 Uhr auf Einladung des soziokulturellen Zentrums Frauenkultur Leipzig einen Vortrag zu „Feministische Widerstandspraktiken. Zwischen Theorie und Praxis“.
Aus der Ankündigung im Programm der Frauenkultur:
„Wie konstituiert sich Widerstand… und spezifisch feministischer Widerstand? Wie entsteht ein feministisches Geschlechter-Wissen? Jördis Grabow stellt die großen Fragen nach gesellschaftlicher und sozioökonomischer feministischer Transformation. Gerade die Verbindung zwischen dem Großen und Kleinen, zwischen Theorie und Praxis, spielen für sie eine bedeutende Rolle. Welche Handlungsstrategien können wir selbst durch und mit Transformationsprozesse(n) erkennen, entwickeln und mitnehmen? Wie können wir unsere eigene Widerstandsfähigkeit entdecken? Damit rückt die Erfahrungskomponente in den Mittelpunkt und die Bedeutung emanzipatorischer Praktiken im Alltag, sodass wir das neue Jahr gemeinsam mit feministisch-utopischen Gedanken und Handlungsoptionen beginnen können.“

On 25 January 2024 at 7 pm, Dr Jördis Grabow will give a lecture on „Feminist Resistance Practices. Between theory and practice“ at Frauenkultur in Leipzig.
From the announcement in the Frauenkultur programme:
How is resistance constituted… and specifically feminist resistance? How does feminist gender knowledge emerge? Jördis Grabow asks the big questions about social and socio-economic feminist transformation. The connection between the big and the small, between theory and practice, plays an important role for her. What strategies for action can we ourselves recognise, develop and take with us through and with transformation processes? How can we discover our own resilience? This puts the experiential component at the centre and the importance of emancipatory practices in everyday life, so that we can start the new year together with feminist-utopian thoughts and options for action.
