Research in Europe: information event for early career researchers on 12 October 2023 / Informationsveranstaltung für Nachwuchswissenschaftler*innen am 12. Oktober 2023
„Research in Europe“ is a free information event and networking opportunity in English and aimed at early career researchers at every level – from Master’s student to senior postdoctoral researcher, as well as professors who want to find out about supporting researchers on their team.
Organised by the European Liaison Office of the German Research Organisations (KoWi) and the University of Göttingen, the event runs from 9:00 to 17:00 on Thursday, 12 October 2023, at our Central Lecture Hall (ZHG). It is a chance for researchers here and across Germany to find out about funding, fellowships and the support at the Göttingen Campus. Visitors are welcome to come and go during the day, dip into talks or grab a coffee and get to know funders, research organisations and other experts at stands. Everyone welcome.

„Research in Europe“ ist eine kostenlose Informations- und Networking-Veranstaltung in englischer Sprache, die sich an Nachwuchsforscher*innen aller Ebenen richtet – vom Masterstudierenden bis zum Postdoc, sowie an Professor*innen, die sich über Unterstützungsmöglichkeiten von Forscher*innen in ihrem Team informieren möchten.
Die Veranstaltung wird von der Kooperationsstelle EU der Wissenschaftsorganisationen (KoWi) und der Universität Göttingen organisiert und findet am Donnerstag, 12. Oktober 2023, von 9.00 bis 17.00 Uhr im Zentralen Hörsaalgebäude (ZHG) statt. Forscher*innen aus der Region und ganz Deutschland können sich hier über Fördermöglichkeiten, Stipendien und die Unterstützung am Göttingen Campus informieren. Besucher*innen sind herzlich eingeladen, den ganzen Tag über zu kommen und zu gehen, sich in Vorträge zu vertiefen oder einen Kaffee zu trinken und Förderer, Forschungsorganisationen und andere Expert*innen an Ständen kennen zu lernen. Jede*r ist willkommen.
