KI in der Lehre: Info- und Austauschveranstaltung am 21. September 2023 / AI in teaching: info and exchange event on 21 September 2023
Nach einem Semester mit ChatGPT ist es Zeit, einen Blick auf die gemachten Erfahrungen in der Lehre zu werfen und einen Blick in die Zukunft zu wagen. Alle Interessierten sind am Donnerstag, 21. September 2023, herzlich von 11 bis 13 Uhr zu einer Info- und Austauschveranstaltung im Zentralen Hörsaalgebäude, Hörsaal ZHG 009, eingeladen.
Zum Auftakt spricht Prof. Dr. Bela Gipp, Professur Analyse wissenschaftlicher Informationsressourcen, darüber, was generative KI wie ChatGPT aktuell und vermutlich in den kommenden Jahren bieten können sowie die Möglichkeit, konkrete Anwendungsbeispiele von KI in der Lehre kennenzulernen und sich darüber auszutauschen.
Ein weiterer Programmpunkt ist ein Diskussionsimpuls von Prof. Dr. Alexander Ecker, Professur für Data Science, zu den Vorgaben der Universität Göttingen zur Nutzung von KI in der Lehre und bei Prüfungen sowie den Grenzen der Transparenzpflicht. Daran anschließend besteht die Gelegenheit zur Diskussion. Eine Anmeldung ist nicht notwendig – kommen Sie einfach vorbei. Und wenn Sie mögen, bringen Sie ein Beispiel aus Ihren eigenen Lehrveranstaltungen mit.

After one semester with ChatGPT, it is time to take a look at the experiences made in teaching and to dare a look into the future. All interested parties are cordially invited to an information and exchange event on Thursday, 21 September 2023, from 11:00 to 13:00 in the Central Lecture Hall Building, Lecture Hall ZHG 009.
To kick things off, Professor Bela Gipp, Chair of Analysis of Scientific Information Resources, will talk about what generative AI such as ChatGPT can offer currently and presumably in the years to come, as well as the opportunity to learn about and share concrete examples of the use of AI in teaching.
Another item on the program is a discussion by Professor Alexander Ecker, Chair of Data Science, on the requirements of the University of Göttingen for the use of AI in teaching and examinations as well as the limits of the transparency obligation. This will be followed by an opportunity for discussion. Registration is not necessary – just come along. And if you like, bring an example from your own courses.
