Ab sofort können Vorschläge für die kommende Enlight Learning & Teaching Conference im Oktober 2026 in Bern eingereicht werden. Studierende mit Interesse an maschinellem Übersetzen sind zu einem interkulturellen Kurs zum Thema eingeladen. Ein Podcast zum Thema „Learning Spaces“ bietet Einblick in innovative Lernräume und Lehrmethoden.
6. ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference 2026 „Context and Learning“ – Call for Proposals
Die Universität Bern lädt alle Lehrenden, Mitarbeiter*innen in der Lehrentwicklung und Studierende der Enlight-Universitäten zur Teilnahme an der 6. ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference 2026 vom 22. bis 24. Oktober 2026 in Bern ein. Unter dem Motto „Context and Learning“ geht es darum, wie Wissen und Fähigkeiten sinnvoll mit Lebens- und Arbeitskontexten verbunden werden können. Wer aktiv an der Konferenz teilnehmen möchte, kann ab jetzt Vorschläge einreichen.

Neuer Podcast „ENLIGHT Insights: Learning Spaces“
Die ENLIGHT-Community startet einen neuen Podcast, der spannende Einblicke in innovative Lernräume und Lehrmethoden bietet: „ENLIGHT Insights: Learning Spaces“. In jeder Folge sprechen Expert*innen aus der Hochschule über aktuelle Trends in der Lehre, kreative Lernumgebungen und die Verbindung von Theorie und Praxis. Ziel ist es, Lehrende, Personen aus der Lehrentwicklung und Studierende zu inspirieren und den Austausch über gute Praxis im Hochschulbereich zu fördern. Reinhören lohnt sich!

Kurs für Studierende über maschinelles Übersetzen
Studierende sind herzlich eingeladen zu einem Kurs im Rahmen des Enlight Programmes „trAIns“. Die Teilnehmenden beschäftigen sich mit dem bewussten und verantwortungsvollen Einsatz von KI-gestützter Übersetzung in mehrsprachiger Kommunikation. In virtuellen, interkulturellen Teams setzen sich Studierende der Enlight-Universitäten damit auseinander, wie maschinelle Übersetzung funktioniert, welche Potenziale und Risiken sie birgt und wie sie kritisch genutzt werden kann, ohne Fremdsprachenlernen zu untergraben. Ziel ist die Entwicklung eines virtuellen Lernpfads, der später allen Universitäten des Netzwerks zur Verfügung steht. Für die Anmeldung ist ein Motivationsschreiben an diana.koppelt@uni-goettingen.de notwendig. Der Kurs findet mittwochs vom 11. Februar bis zum 25. März 2026 statt.

6thENLIGHT Teaching and Learning Conference 2026 “Context and Learning”
The University of Bern invites all teaching staff, learning and teaching specialists, and students from the ENLIGHT universities to participate in the ENLIGHT Teaching & Learning Conference 2026, taking place from 22 to 24 October 2026 in Bern. Under the theme “Context and Learning”, the conference will explore how knowledge and skills can be meaningfully connected to real-life and work-related contexts. Those wishing to actively participate in the conference are now invited to submit proposal.

The ENLIGHT community is launching a new podcast offering fascinating insights into innovative learning spaces and teaching methods: “ENLIGHT Insights: Learning Spaces”. In each episode, higher education experts discuss current trends in teaching, creative learning environments, and the connection between theory and practice. The podcast aims to inspire teaching staff, learning and teaching specialists, and students, while promoting the exchange of good practice across higher education.

Course for Students about AI-supported Translation
Students are cordially invited to attend a course as part of the Enlight programme „trAIns“. Participants will explore the conscious and responsible use of AI-supported translation in multilingual communication. In virtual, intercultural teams, students from Enlight Universities will explore how machine translation works, what potential and risks it holds and how it can be used critically without undermining foreign language learning. The aim is to develop a virtual learning path that will later be available to all universities in the network. To register, a letter of motivation must be sent to diana.koppelt@uni-goettingen.de. The course will take place on Wednesdays from 11 February to 25 March 2026.
