Neuer Diversitätspreis der Universität Göttingen: Nominierungen gesucht! / New Diversity Award: Nominations wanted!
Ein Beratungsangebot oder ein*e besonders diversitätsbewusste*r Berater*in begeistert Sie? Ihre Führungskraft setzt sich besonders für aktiven Diskriminierungsschutz im Arbeitsbereich ein? Sie sind Teil einer Initiative für eine demokratische Universitätskultur oder kennen ein Projekt, das sich im Einsatz gegen Diskriminierung oder für einen wertschätzenden Umgang auszeichnet? Dann reichen Sie Ihre Nominierung für den Diversitätspreis ein!
Die Preiskategorien lauten „Beratung“, „Führung“ und „Universitätskultur“. Ab 2026 werden jährlich zwei Preise verliehen, die mit je 2.500 Euro dotiert sind. Da der Preis auch bisher unsichtbares Engagement sichtbar machen soll, können Sie sich für die Kategorien „Beratung“ und „Universitätskultur“ auch selbst bewerben. Lediglich in der Kategorie „Führung“ ist keine Eigenbewerbung möglich.
Vorschlagsberechtigt sind alle Mitglieder und Angehörigen der Universität. Eine Jury, in der Studierende, Hochschullehrende und Mitarbeitende vertreten sind, wählt unter den Vorschlägen aus.
Der Diversitätspreis wird von der Arineo GmbH unterstützt.

Are you enthusiastic about a particular counselling/advisory service or an especially diversity-conscious counsellor? Is your manager particularly committed to active protection against discrimination in the workplace? Are you part of an initiative for a democratic university culture or do you know of a project that combats discrimination or promotes respectful interaction? Then submit your nomination for the Diversity Award!
The University of Göttingen would like to honour outstanding commitment to diversity and equal opportunities and is calling on all members and affiliates of the University to nominate people or groups for the new Diversity Award by 28 February 2026.
The award categories are Counselling/advisory services, Leadership and University Culture. From 2026, two prizes will be awarded annually, each worth 2,500 euros.
As the prize is also intended to make previously invisible commitment visible, you can also apply for the „Counselling/Advisory services“ and „University Culture“ categories yourself. However, we do not accept applications/self-nominations for the „Leadership“ category, only nominations.
All members and affiliates of the University are eligible to nominate candidates. A jury made up of students, lecturers and staff will select the winners. The Diversity Award is supported by Arineo GmbH.
