„feelfalt erleben“: Dies Academicus am 21. Juni 2023 / University sports day on 21 June 2023
Das Sportzentrum der Universität Göttingen wird am Mittwoch, 21. Juni 2023, wieder zum Mittelpunkt des Miteinanders und Sports. Unter dem Motto „feelfalt erleben“ erwartet die Gäste beim jährlichen Dies Academicus neben zahlreichen Turnieren auch ein abwechslungsreiches Bühnenprogramm.
Die Tradition des „Dies“ reicht über 100 Jahre zurück – aus dem Sportfest der Studentenverbindungen auf dem damaligen Jahnsportfeld ist ein Sport- und Kulturfest mit über 8.000 Gästen geworden. In diesem Jahr neu dabei sind ein Turnier im Flag Football, einer Variante des American Football ohne Körperkontakt, sowie das Tau-Speedklettern am Kletterzentrum RoXx, bei dem Teilnehmerinnen und Teilnehmer am frei hängenden Tau gegeneinander antreten.

The Sports Center of the University of Göttingen will once again become the center of togetherness and sports on Wednesday, 21 June 2023. Under the motto „feelfalt erleben„, guests at the annual Dies Academicus can expect not only numerous tournaments but also a varied stage programme. The tradition of the „Dies“ goes back over 100 years – the sports festival of the student fraternities on the former Jahnsportfeld has become a sports and cultural festival with over 8,000 guests. New this year are a tournament in flag football, a variant of American football without physical contact, as well as rope speed climbing at the RoXx climbing center, where participants compete against each other on a freely suspended rope.
