Kostenlose Menstruationsprodukte / Free menstrual products
Die Universität Göttingen stellt mittlerweile an mehr als 50 Standorten kostenlose Menstruationsprodukte wie Binden und Tampons in Spendern bereit, insbesondere in Gebäuden, die primär der Lehre dienen und von Studierenden frequentiert werden. Die Spender befinden sich in oder vor Toiletten, verteilt über den gesamten Zentral- und Nordcampus.
Die Standorte sind im digitalen Lageplan der Universität zu finden und zwar unter dem Kartenlayer „Gleichstellung, Diversität & Familie“. Das Angebot kostenloser Menstruationsprodukte wurde durch die Arbeit der studentischen Initiative und Hochschulgruppe „Break The Bloody Taboo“ angestoßen, die auch im Rahmen des Wettbewerbs „Kreativität im Studium“ prämiert wurde.
The University of Göttingen now provides free menstrual products such as sanitary towels and tampons in dispensers at more than 50 locations, particularly in buildings that are primarily used for teaching and frequented by students. The dispensers are located in or outside toilets throughout the central and north campuses.
The locations can be found on the university’s digital map under the map layer „Diversity & Family“. The provision of free menstrual products was initiated by the student initiative and university group „Break The Bloody Taboo“ (website in German), which also won an award in the „Creativity in Studies“ competition.
