Wie geht es Wissenschaftler*innen der Universität Göttingen mit Pflege- und Sorgeverantwortung für Angehörige? Wie erleben diese Wissenschaftler*innen ihre Vereinbarkeit von Beruf und Pflege? Und welche Bewältigungsstrategien und spezifischer Bedarfe beschreiben sie?
Diese Fragen beantwortet Prof. Dr. Inken Lind (TH Köln) am Dienstag, 29. August 2023, von 11 bis 12 Uhr in ihrem universitätsöffentlichen Onlinevortrag über zentrale Ergebnisse der Machbarkeitsstudie „Balancierung von Wissenschaft und Pflege (BAWIP)“, die sie im Auftrag der Universität Göttingen durchgeführt hat. Auf Grundlage der Ergebnisse und abgeleiteter Handlungsempfehlungen sollen konkrete Angebote zur besseren Vereinbarkeit von Wissenschaft und Pflegeverantwortung an der Universität entwickelt werden.

How are academics at the University of Göttingen dealing with the responsibility of caring for relatives? How do these scientists experience their compatibility of work and care? And what coping strategies and specific needs do they describe?
These questions will be answered by Professor Inken Lind (TH Köln) on Tuesday, 29 August 2023, from 11:00 to 12:00 in her online lecture on the central results of the feasibility study „Balancing of Science and Care (BAWIP)“, which she conducted on behalf of the University of Göttingen. Based on the results and derived need for action, concrete offers for a better compatibility of science and caring responsibilities at the university will be developed.
