Doktorand*innen und Postdocs sind herzlich eingeladen zum Women’s Careers and Networks Symposium (WoCaNet) am Donnerstag, 11. und Freitag, 12. Mai 2023, am Max-Planck-Institut für multidisziplinäre Naturwissenschaften, Standort Faßberg Campus. Thema der Veranstaltung ist „Together Towards Tomorrow“. Eine Anmeldung ist ab sofort möglich.
Die Veranstaltung startet am 11. Mai mit vier parallelen Workshops für non-male-Personen. Das Interesse an der Teilnahme an den Workshops kann auf dem Anmeldeformular angegeben werden, die Teilnehmer*innen werden dann unter den Interessierten per Zufallsprinzip ausgewählt.
Am 12. Mai findet das Hauptsymposium mit Vorträgen von Expert*innen aus Wissenschaft, Industrie und Politik statt. Außerdem ist eine Karrieremesse geplant. Am Abend können Sie an einem Networking Dinner mit den Referent*innen teilnehmen. Das Programm am 12. Mai steht Menschen aller Geschlechter offen.
Die Teilnahmegebühr für das Hauptsymposium beträgt 15 Euro, für die Workshops 5 bis 10 Euro und für das Networking Dinner 5 Euro. Anmeldeschluss ist der 27. April 2023.

PhD students and postdocs are cordially invited to the Women’s Careers and Networks Symposium (WoCaNet) on Thursday, 11 and Friday, 12 May 2023, at the Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences at the Fassberg Campus. The theme of the event is „Together Towards Tomorrow“. Registration is now open.
The event will start on 11 May with four parallel workshops for non male persons. Interest in attending workshops can be indicated on the registration form and then participants will be chosen from those interested by random ballot.
On 12 May, the main symposium will take place with presentations by experts from science, industry and politics. A career fair is also planned. In the evening, you can take part in a networking dinner with the speakers. All genders are welcome on 12 May.
The participation fee for the main symposium is 15 euros, for the workshops 5 to 10 euros and for the networking dinner 5 euros. The registration deadline is 27 April 2023.
