Andrea D. Bührmann ist Dekanin der Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät
Prof. Dr. Andrea D. Bührmann, Direktorin des Instituts für Diversitätsforschung, ist ab dem 1.10.2024 Dekanin der Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät. Sie wurde für eine zweijährige Amtszeit vom Fakultätsrat der Sozialwissenschaftlichen Fakultät gewählt und vom Präsidium der Universität Göttingen bestätigt. Wir gratulieren herzlich!
Um die mit dem Amt der Dekanin einhergehende Lehrreduktion auszugleichen, wird für die Dauer der Amtszeit eine zusätzliche Stelle am Institut für Diversitätsforschung geschaffen. Studierende dürfen sich daher auf eine weitere Lehrperson freuen und wir uns auf ein neues Teammitglied!

Professor Andrea D. Bührmann, Director of the Göttingen Diversity Research Institute, is Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences from 1 October 2024. She was elected for a two-year term of office by the Faculty Council of the Faculty of Social Sciences and confirmed by the Presidential Board of the University of Göttingen. We congratulate her warmly!
In order to compensate for the reduction in teaching associated with the position of Dean, an additional position will be created at the Göttingen Diversity Research Institute for the duration of the term of office. Students can therefore look forward to another lecturer and we can look forward to a new team member!
