Grundlagenworkshop zu Neurodiversität / Basic workshop on neurodiversity (in German)
In diesem Jahr beteiligt sich die Universität erstmals mit einem Grundlagenworkshop zu Neurodiversität und Neurodivergenz an der „Neurodiversity Pride Week”. Der Workshop findet am Donnerstag, 12. Juni 2025, statt und richtet sich an Mitarbeiter*innen der Universität.
Der Workshop wird von den Trainerinnen Maren Frank und Jessica Stazzone Manazza durchgeführt. Er wird von der Stabsstelle Chancengleichheit und Diversität im Rahmen der „Neurodiversity Pride Week“ organisiert, um mehr (Neuro)Inklusion und Akzeptanz von Diversität zu fördern. Er ist bereits die vierte universitäre Veranstaltung zum Thema Neurodiversität binnen eines Jahres, da das Thema sowohl für Studierende, für Promovierende als auch für Beschäftigte wie Lehrende oder Mitarbeitende in Prüfungsämtern zunehmend relevant ist. Eine Anmeldung ist noch bis zum 11. Juni 2025 um 12 Uhr möglich.
Die „Neurodiversity Pride Week“ findet 2025 zum achten Mal und in 50 Ländern auf der ganzen Welt statt. Vom 10. bis 17. Juni wird mit verschiedenen Events ein gemeinsames Ziel verfolgt: Eine Welt zu schaffen, in der neurodivergente Menschen akzeptiert und unterstützt werden und in der neurologische Unterschiede als wesentlicher Bestandteil der menschlichen Vielfalt gesehen und respektiert werden. Der offizielle Pride Day ist der 16. Juni.
This year, the University of Göttingen is taking part in Neurodiversity Pride Week for the first time with a basic workshop on neurodiversity and neurodivergence. The workshop will take place on Thursday, 12 June 2025 and is aimed at employees of the university.
The workshop will be run by trainers Maren Frank and Jessica Stazzone Manazza. It is organised by the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Office as part of the Neurodiversity Pride Week to promote more (neuro)inclusion and acceptance of diversity. It is already the fourth university event on the topic of neurodiversity within a year, as the topic is becoming increasingly relevant for students, doctoral candidates and employees such as lecturers or staff in examination offices. Registration is still possible until 11 June 2025 at 12:00 noon.
The Neurodiversity Pride Week will take place for the eighth time in 2025 and in 50 countries around the world. From 10 to 17 June, various events will pursue a common goal: To create a world in which neurodivergent people are accepted and supported and in which neurological differences are seen and respected as an essential part of human diversity. The official Pride Day is 16 June.
