Vorankündigung: Bombenevakuierung am 23. September 2023 / Advance warning evacuation for 23 September 2023: making safe another suspected WWII bomb
Wie die Stadt Göttingen bereits veröffentlicht hat, wird es am Sonnabend, 23. September 2023, und eventuell auch am Sonntag, 24. September 2023, erneut zur Überprüfung und Bergung mehrerer Kampfmittelverdachtspunkte im Umfeld des Schützenplatzes kommen. Hierbei ist erneut eine Evakuierung in einem größeren Radius um die Fundstelle herum notwendig.
Die Stadt hat zwar noch keinen finalen Evakuierungsplan veröffentlicht, aber es ist davon auszugehen, dass auch wieder größere Teile des Bereichs um den Zentralcampus betroffen sind. Wir möchten Sie deshalb jetzt schon bitten, dies bei der Planung von Lehr-, Prüfungs- oder Sonderveranstaltungen zu berücksichtigen.

As announced by the City of Göttingen, more suspected explosive devices from World War II will be inspected and made safe on Saturday, 23 September 2023, and maybe also on Sunday, 24 September 2023. The affected area is in the vicinity of the Schützenplatz. This will again require an evacuation for everyone within a certain radius around the site.
Although the City has not yet published a final evacuation plan, it is to be expected that it will again be necessary to evacuate a larger part of the area around the Central Campus. Therefore, we would like to ask you to take this into account when planning teaching, examination or special events.
