Die Webinare „Decolonising and Diversifying our Curriculum, Research and Partnerships“ (DecCur) der gleichnamigen Enlight-Initiative beginnt am Donnerstag, 15. Mai 2025. Alle Interessierten sind willkommen. Unter dem Titel „Reimagining Alliances between the Basque Public University and Civil Society“ beleuchtet die Veranstaltung feministische und antirassistische Perspektiven, kritische Pädagogik und Beziehungen zwischen Hochschulen und sozialen Bewegungen. Referent*innen der Universität des Baskenlandes und weiterer Partnerorganisationen geben Einblicke in transformative Kooperationen zwischen Hochschulen und Zivilgesellschaft. Beginn ist um 16 Uhr.

Enlight lädt herzlich ein zum Enlight & Arqus Alliance Open Science Ambassador Webinar mit Dr. Hildrun Walter von der Professur für Wissenschaftskommunikation der Universität Graz am Montag, 19. Mai 2025. Das Webinar thematisiert die Rolle der Wissenschaftskommunikation in der Gesellschaft und fragt, wie Open-Science-Praktiken dazu beitragen können, das Vertrauen in die Forschung zu stärken – insbesondere in Zeiten globaler Krisen wie der Pandemie und des Klimawandels. Die Veranstaltung beginnt um 10 Uhr.

Webinar series kick-off: Decolonising and Diversifying our Curriculum, Research and Partnerships (DecCur)
On Thursday, 15 May 2025, from 16:00 to 18:00, the joint initiative „Decolonising and Diversifying our Curriculum, Research and Partnerships“ (DecCur) will host its first webinar. Titled “Reimagining Alliances between the Basque Public University and Civil Society”, the session will explore feminist and antiracist perspectives, critical pedagogy, and co-produced knowledge. Speakers from the University of the Basque Country and partner organisations will share insights into transformative collaborations between universities and civil society.

Enlight invites you to the Enlight & Arqus Alliance Open Science Ambassador Webinar with Dr Hildrun Walter from the Chair of Science Communication at the University of Graz on Monday, 19 May 2025. The webinar will focus on the role of science communication in society and ask how open science practices can help to strengthen trust in research – especially in times of global crises such as the pandemic and climate change. The event starts at 10:00.
