Die Publikationsm\u00f6glichkeiten und -verfahren ab 01.01.2024 und bis 31.12.2028 schlie\u00dfen nahtlos an die Abl\u00e4ufe der vorhergehenden Vertragsperiode an. Februar 2024 beim Verlag MDPI eingereicht werden, ist eine F\u00f6rderung \u00fcber den Publikationsfonds der Universit\u00e4t G\u00f6ttingen (inkl. UMG) nicht mehr m\u00f6glich. Mai 2024 findet das&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/open-access.network\/vernetzen\/barcamp\">Open Access Barcamp<\/a>&nbsp;in&nbsp;G\u00f6ttingen statt. Professionals, Anf\u00e4nger*innen und Interessierte im Bereich Open Access haben hier die M\u00f6glichkeit, in den Austausch miteinander zu treten, sich zu vernetzen und voneinander zu lernen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das Format Barcamp ist im Gegensatz zu klassischen Konferenzen offener und verzichtet auf ein vorab fixiertes Programm. The publication options and procedures from 01.01.2024 and until 31.12.2028 seamlessly follow the procedures of the previous contract period. In addition, the University of G\u00f6ttingen have joined the DEAL Elsevier contract, which is the first contract period with the publisher (retroactive start from 01.01.2024).<br>Please note that the onboarding process for the DEAL contracts is still ongoing in some cases, so it may take some time before the workflows are established.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Information on the DEAL conditions can be found in the monthly training course &#8222;Open Access Publishing at the University of G\u00f6ttingen&#8220; and on the SUB G\u00f6ttingen website. Publications in Diamond Open Access are available to readers free of charge, and there are no author fees (APCs, BPCs). Instead, funding is provided via sponsorship and membership models in which the institutions participate. If you have any questions about the initiatives, please contact us at <a href=\"mailto:oa@sub.uni-goettingen.de\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">oa@sub.uni-goettingen.de<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"vier\">New publishing agreements in golden and hybrid open access<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The SUB G\u00f6ttingen concludes transformation contracts and agreements with publishers that support <a href=\"https:\/\/open-access.network\/en\/information\/glossary#c6220\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">golden<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/open-access.network\/en\/information\/glossary#c6213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hybrid<\/a> Open Access publishing. In the case of gold Open Access publications, read access is free of charge, financing is provided via author fees (APCs, BPCs). Hybrid open access publications are a mixed form &#8211; some articles in these journals can only be read via a paid license, while others are available to readers free of charge because these articles have been purchased as open access or there is a corresponding contract option. It focuses on the interoperability and citability of research data.
