Dieser Rahmenvertrag&nbsp;schafft die Grundlage daf\u00fcr, dass Wissenschaftler*innen an deutschen Hochschulen und Forschungseinrichtungen Open Access in Elsevier-Zeitschriften publizieren k\u00f6nnen und nach etlichen vertragslosen Jahren zugleich auch Leserechte auf das gesamte Elsevier-Zeitschriftenportfolio erhalten. Derzeit werden die Beitrittsbedingungen deutschlandweit von Universit\u00e4ten und Forschungseinrichtungen gepr\u00fcft. Gemeinsam kommt das neue Unternehmen auf etwa 750 Mitarbeitende und einen Umsatz von ca. 134 Millionen Euro. Pro Jahr werden dann mehr als 3.500 B\u00fccher und 800 Zeitschriften ver\u00f6ffentlicht. Die Umsetzung ist ab dem 2. Quartal 2024 geplant. Diese nehmen zum Teil sogar Bezug auf aktuelle Ver\u00f6ffentlichungen und wirken daher zun\u00e4chst plausibel. Achten Sie bitte bei Mails von Frontiers genau auf die Absendeadresse (*@frontiersin.org) und vermeiden Sie das Aufrufen von Verlinkungen. Bei PDF-Rechnungsdokumenten sollte prim\u00e4r auf die Bankverbindung (UBS Switzerland AG) geachtet werden. Bei der mehrt\u00e4gigen Veranstaltung wurde unter anderem eine&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.8398604\">Umfrage der Universit\u00e4t Kassel zum Verlag MDPI<\/a> pr\u00e4sentiert, \u00fcber die&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.8389537\">Rolle von Zeitschriftenherausgeber*innen bei der Open-Access-Transformation<\/a>&nbsp;berichtet und die <a href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.5281\/zenodo.10069666\">Plattform Open Text Collections (Sprachwissenschaft)<\/a> vorgestellt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Weitere Informationen: <a href=\"https:\/\/zenodo.org\/communities\/oat23\">Vortr\u00e4ge und Poster<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"acht\">Checkliste f\u00fcr offene Bildungsmaterialien<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Bei der Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Open Educational Resources (OER) stellen sich unter anderem lizenzrechtliche Fragen. Beim OERcamp 2022 wurde ein Pr\u00fcfinstrument entworfen, welches in den letzten Monaten getestet und finalisiert wurde. Das Ergebnis ist eine Checkliste, die Sie bei der Kl\u00e4rung von rechtlichen Fragen unterst\u00fctzt. Dies betrifft Verlage wie Springer Nature, Wiley, Sage Publishing, Cambridge University Press (CUP), die Royal Society of London, IOP Publishing, De Gruyter, BMJ, das American Institute of Physics (AIP), die American Chemical Society (ACS) und Hogrefe. Unter hybriden Journalen werden Zeitschriften verstanden, die grunds\u00e4tzlich subskriptionsbasiert sind, jedoch zus\u00e4tzlich eine kostenpflichtige Open-Access-Option anbieten. Die Kosten f\u00fcr diese Option werden dabei vollst\u00e4ndig im Rahmen dieser Vertr\u00e4ge abgedeckt, so dass f\u00fcr die Autor*innen keine weiteren Kosten entstehen. This framework agreement creates the basis for scientists at German universities and research institutions to be able to publish Open Access in Elsevier journals and, after several years without a contract, also receive reading rights to the entire Elsevier journal portfolio. The conditions of accession are currently being examined by universities and research institutions throughout Germany. Hybrid journals are journals that are generally subscription-based but also offer a fee-based open access option.
