Hinterherpfeifen, sexualisierte Gesten und Rufe, sexistische Sprüche, übergriffige Kommentare – Catcalling ist eine alltägliche Form von sexualisierter Gewalt im öffentlichen Raum. Es ist kein Kompliment, kein Spaß und keine Bagatelle.
Fünf Jahre nach der Petition „Es ist 2020. Catcalling sollte strafbar sein“ nehmen wir gemeinsam mit verschiedenen Expert*innen die Forderung wieder auf und diskutieren, warum Catcalling immer noch nicht strafbar ist.

Whistling, sexualised gestures and shouts, sexist remarks, offensive comments – catcalling is an everyday form of sexualised violence in public spaces. It is not a compliment, it is not fun, and it is not trivial.

Five years after the petition „Es ist 2020. Catcalling sollte strafbar sein“ we are joining forces with various experts to revisit the demand and discuss why catcalling is still not a criminal offence.
