Can you present the core message of your doctoral thesis in just three minutes &#8211; in English? If so, the Three\u2011Minute\u2011Thesis (3MT) Competition is for you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Format: Each participant delivers a three\u2011minute presentation in English. A jury composed of members of the Graduate Schools will evaluate the presentations afterwards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2024 the Graduate Schools, together with Alumni G\u00f6ttingen\u202fe.V., have been organizing their own 3MT sessions as part of the university\u2019s Alumni Day, following the rules and judging criteria established by the University of Queensland, the originator of the 3MT format. Thanks to Alumni G\u00f6ttingen\u202fe.V., prizes will be awarded to the best presentations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Coaching<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are pleased to offer optional coaching for all participants who will present on 30\u202fMay. The coaching program includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Online preparatory sessions<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An on\u2011site meeting in May\u202f2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>During the coaching you can refine your three\u2011minute talk, receive feedback on your slide design, and practize your presentation.
