(GI)<\/strong> annually awards a prize for an outstanding dissertation: the <a href=\"https:\/\/gi.de\/dissertationspreis\"><strong>GI dissertation prize<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dissertation must be in computer science. This includes not only work that represents progress for computer science, but also work from the applications of computer science in other disciplines and work that investigates the interactions between computer science and society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The GI dissertation prize is endowed with <strong>5000\u20ac<\/strong>.
