Their time limit\u2026 3 minutes.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Doctoral students from various disciplines of the G\u00f6ttingen Campus will <strong>present their doctoral project<\/strong> in a single static slide (PPP) in English <strong>in just three minutes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since 2024 the Graduate Schools and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alumni-goettingen.de\/?lang=us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Alumni G\u00f6ttingen e.V.<\/a> are hosting the Three Minute Thesis competition in the course of the universities <em>alumni day<\/em> according to <a href=\"https:\/\/threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au\/resources\/competition-rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the rules<\/a> and judging criteria of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uq.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">University of Queensland<\/a>, inventor of the <a href=\"https:\/\/threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">3MT format<\/a> (3MT\u00ae) .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition will be held on <strong>30 May 2026 <\/strong>at the<strong> Central Lecture Hall Building (ZHG), Platz der G\u00f6ttinger Sieben <\/strong>starting at<strong> 15:30h<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competitors will present their research within three minutes with a single static slide (follow <a href=\"https:\/\/threeminutethesis.uq.edu.au\/resources\/competition-rules\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the rules<\/a>). A jury will decide on the ranking of all presentations. The audience will select their favourite 3MT slammer \u2013 so bring your colleagues and friends.
