It enables researchers to carry out their own research project at a host institution of their choice, either in Germany or abroad, thereby strengthening academic independence and international mobility. As such, it provides an excellent foundation for developing a distinct research profile and preparing for future grant applications, such as DFG Emmy Noether Groups or ERC Starting Grants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, participants will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>An overview of the diverse and flexible&nbsp; funding opportunities offered by the Walter Benjamin Programme<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Guidance on DFG guidelines, application templates, and evaluation criteria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical strategies for developing strong proposal sections<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The workshop is open to <strong>final-year doctoral candidates and early-career postdoctoral researchers from all disciplines at the University of G\u00f6ttingen <\/strong>(excluding UMG).<br>The workshop will be conducted in English on-site at the Department of Research and Transfer Services. It will not be offered online.
