Landscapes, portraits, and biblical scenes by <strong>Rembrandt van Rijn<\/strong> are presented not only in their original graphic form, but also as large-scale contemporary reinterpretations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These modern adaptations open up new perspectives on Rembrandt\u2019s mastery of light and shadow and place his work in the context of the profound political, religious, and social transformations of the 17th century. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Curated by <strong>Martin van Gelderen<\/strong>, <strong>Ivan Gaskell<\/strong>, and the late <strong>Gert W.
