GAUSS\/GGNB offers various GSP courses throughout the year but most of them are focused on specific research fields (i.e. Biology, Physics, Chemistry, etc.) and trainers usually do not admit students from other faculties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are therefore pleased to inform you, that the <strong>Faculty of Geoscience and Geography<\/strong> has organized a new workshop on Good Scientific Practice in the upcoming winter semester 2025\/26. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong><u>online workshop<\/u><\/strong> \u201c<strong>Scientists Need More! Good Scientific Practice\u201d <\/strong>will be offered on <strong>16 December 2025. <\/strong>0,5 Credits can be awarded for participating in this workshop. You can sign up for this workshop in<strong> Stud-IP <\/strong>from<strong> <mark class=\"has-inline-color has-luminous-vivid-orange-color\">1-20 October 2025<\/mark>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, the <strong>Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science<\/strong> organized two Good Scientific Practice seminars taking place in the upcoming winter term:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/hps.vi4io.org\/teaching\/autumn_term_2025\/gosci\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u201c<strong>Good Scientific Practice in Computer and Data Science<\/strong>\u201d<\/a> will be offered in <strong>October 2025 <\/strong>and <strong>February\/March 2026. <\/strong>2 Credits can be awarded for participating in this workshop. The course dates are <strong>23-24 Oct 2025, 23 February 2026 <\/strong>and <strong>23 March 2026<\/strong>. PhD students from the Faculty of Computer Science can also join.
