These two funding opportunities showcase the diversity of the international student community. They also honor the valuable contributions to both academic and social life at our university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>DAAD prize<\/strong> includes prize money of 1.000 \u20ac and can only be won by individual students. Candidates studying at the University of G\u00f6ttingen wanting to apply must fulfil the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>above-average academic achievements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>exemplary unpaid social commitment, in particular on an intercultural basis and preferably in G\u00f6ttingen, at the University<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>non-German nationality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>obtained the secondary school leaving certificate abroad<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>enrolled on a standard course at G\u00f6ttingen University (guest studies not eligible)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>currently in an advanced stage of their studies, i.e. at least in the second year of study within an undergraduate study programme\/doctorate, or in the second semester of a master&#8217;s programme, and still due to be enrolled until the end of December 2025<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Scholarship for Exceptional Commitment<\/strong> (including a one-time financial grant of 500 \u20ac) also aims to promote the achievements and engagement of international students at our university.
