In addition to funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG), funding is available until February 2027 via the Lower Saxony-wide publication fund NiedersachsenOPEN. Only publication costs for the publishing in Open Access are eligible for funding. Funding for printing costs etc. is not possible.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Funding via NiedersachsenOPEN is generally available to all authors at the University of G\u00f6ttingen (including UMG). Regardless of the authors&#8217; affiliation, open access books on Lower Saxony topics or collections of Lower Saxony&#8217;s memory institutions are also eligible for funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested authors can contact <a href=\"mailto:oa@sub.uni-goettingen.de\">oa@sub.uni-goettingen.de<\/a> &#8211; please also let us know whether there is a connection to a DFG project. UMG)? Take advantage of our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/edocs.sub.uni-goettingen.de\/handle\/4\/23628\">virtual training courses<\/a>&nbsp;or visit us during our virtual consultation hour. The consultation hour always takes place on Mondays from 11:00-12:00 in our&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/meet.gwdg.de\/b\/bas-zxk-gea-6b9\">BigBlueButton room<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Primary publications free of charge with GRO.publications<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are publishing an institutional publication series, would like to publish a project report or a manuscript? <a href=\"https:\/\/publications.goettingen-research-online.de\/?locale=en\">GRO.publications<\/a>, the publication management system of the University of G\u00f6ttingen, offers you the opportunity to do this. Publications receive a permanent identifier with the DOI, are recorded in the library catalog and reported to the German National Library as part of the mandatory submission. Publication series receive a profile that bundles the individual publications and enables embedding of the publication list in other websites.
