Take your change and <strong>apply<\/strong> for one of these prestigious fellowships<strong> by 2 May 2024<\/strong> (4pm UK time). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The total funds for the fellowships are \u00a3 9 million\u00a0and the maximium award is \u00a3 500k. The key information for the fellowships are listed here:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Apply for funding to carry out independent research within a host laboratory and gain leadership skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The fellowship must be based at a UK research organisation eligible for BBSRC funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must be able to demonstrate appropriate and relevant research, technical or innovation experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You are not eligible to apply if you hold or have held any post or position at lecturer level (or equivalent in an institution other than a university).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The full economic cost of your project can be up to \u00a3500,000. BBSRC will fund 80% of the full economic cost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your project must be within BBSRC\u2019s remit.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Your fellowship will last 3 years. You can choose to work full time or part time.
