To date, only a quarter of professorships at HAWs in Germany are held by women. Many female academics are not aware of the career path of a university professorship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hawk.de\/de\/hochschule\/veranstaltungskalender\/online-infoveranstaltung-fuer-frauen-professorin-werden-der-hochschule-fuer-angewandte\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>online information event<\/strong><\/a> on <strong>17 March 2026<\/strong> will inform you about specifics of the job profile and the general conditions and requirements for an appointment as a professor at a university of applied sciences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This <strong>event will be held in German<\/strong>.
