Then write an&nbsp;article about your work and enter it into the competition for the <a href=\"https:\/\/klartext-preis.de\/meldungen\/klartext-preis-fuer-wissenschaftskommunikation-2023\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>KlarText Award for Achievements in Public Understanding of Sciences<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Through this prize, the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/klartext-preis.de\/klaus-tschira-stiftung\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Klaus Tschira Stiftung<\/a> recognizes young researchers who explain their research results in a comprehensible manner in a&nbsp;popular science article in German. The call will close on 28 February 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Application requirements include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Relevance to the fields of biology, chemistry, IT, mathematics, neuroscience or physics, or to neighbouring disciplines so long as the research work is related to one of the six above fields;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PhD with excellent results finished in 2022 or 2023<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Entry must be written in German;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Neither the nationality of the entrants nor the location of the university at which they acquired their PhD is taken into account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Form of funding: <\/strong>The <strong>best articles<\/strong> are each awarded a prize of \u20ac 7,500 and published in the popular science magazine KlarText &#8211; a supplement of DIE ZEIT. <strong>All entrants<\/strong>, including those who do not win, can take part in a&nbsp;<strong>two-day workshop on communicating science<\/strong>.<br><strong>The closing date for applications <\/strong>is&nbsp;<strong>28 February 2023<\/strong>.<br><strong>Application information<\/strong> as well as terms and conditions of entry can be found <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/klartext-preis.de\/bewerbungsvoraussetzungen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">here<\/a><\/strong> (only available in German).
