The closing date is<strong> 27 October 2024, 11:59h CET.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>YPP is a 3-year programme<\/strong> which aims to attract and develop highly talented young professionals who are interested in accelerating their career through entry-level positions at NATO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Successful candidates will be assigned to different NATO bodies for one-year periods, for a total of three NATO bodies over three years. This will provide participants with a broad understanding of NATO and with opportunities to develop many competencies in several different work areas within the Organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the third cycle of the YPP there are <strong>13 different positions available<\/strong> for people from a <strong>wide variety of educational and professional backgrounds<\/strong>, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Data Science and Innovation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Economics and Finance<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering and Logistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human Resources<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ICT and Cyber Security<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Political Affairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal Affairs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing and Communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Programme and Project Management<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>vacancy notices for the 13 different positions<\/strong> can be found on NATO\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nato.taleo.net\/careersection\/iam\/accessmanagement\/login.jsf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e-recruitment system<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n<a class=\"wp-block-read-more\" href=\"https:\/\/news.uni-goettingen.de\/gauss-career\/2024\/10\/14\/2024-young-professionals-programme-ypp-of-nato-apply-by-27-oct-2024\/\" target=\"_self\">Read more<span class=\"screen-reader-text\">: 2024 Young Professionals Programme (YPP) of NATO (apply by 27 Oct 2024)<\/span><\/a>\n\n\n<p>Applicants must meet the following <strong>eligibility criteria<\/strong> at the time of application:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Age:<\/strong> 21+<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Nationality:<\/strong> a citizen of a NATO member country<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Professional experience:<\/strong> at least one year of demonstrated professional experience, including full-time employment, temporary assignments and\/or internships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Educational status:<\/strong> a Master&#8217;s degree or equivalent from a recognised institution in a relevant subject<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Languages:<\/strong> proficiency in one of the two official NATO languages: English or French. A working knowledge of the second is considered an asset.
