She works in the G\u00f6ttingen team of the research area <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-osnabrueck.de\/imis\/futurmig-wissenschaftsraum-zukuenfte-der-migration\">FuturMig<\/a> \u2013 Production of Futures of Migration<\/em>.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Yasmin studied ethnology and gender studies at Georg August University in G\u00f6ttingen and completed her master&#8217;s degree in cultural anthropology\/European ethnology in 2025 with a thesis on the production of a \u201cProblemimmobilie\u201d between problematized migration from Southeast Europe and socio-political actions and negotiations, using the example of Groner Landstra\u00dfe 9-9b in G\u00f6ttingen. During her master&#8217;s degree, she participated in various projects at the interface between science and political education, including the bpb feasibility study on a nationwide NSU documentation center and the project Ver\/Sammeln Antirassistischer K\u00e4mpfe (Collecting Anti-Racist Struggles), in which she collaborated with victims and relatives of the victims of NSU terrorism to create the podcast \u201cDas Schweigen ist vorbei!\u201d (The Silence is Over!).<br>Since January 2026 Yasmin is working at CeMig as a research assistant in the Lower Saxony joint project <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.uni-osnabrueck.de\/imis\/futurmig-wissenschaftsraum-zukuenfte-der-migration\">FuturMig<\/a> \u2013 Production of Migration Futures<\/em>. In this context involved in coordination and curatorial work at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.museum-friedland.de\/\">Friedland Museum<\/a>.
