Teil-Sperrung des Parkplatzes am Blauen Turm ab der kommenden Woche / Partial closure of the car park at „Blauer Turm“ from next week
Ab Montag, 20. Juli 2026, wird der Parkplatz am Blauen Turm teilweise vorübergehend gesperrt. Dies ist aufgrund von Tiefbauarbeiten der Stadtwerke für die Verlegung von Fernwärmeleitungen notwendig.
Laut der aktuellen Terminplanung der Stadtwerke dauert der erste Bauabschnitt vom 20. Juli bis zum 21. August 2026. Der zweite Bauabschnitt ist für das Wochenende 22./23. August geplant und der dritte für den Zeitraum vom 24. August bis zum 25. September. Das Gebäudemanagement hatte die umliegenden Fakultäten und Einrichtungen bereits Anfang Juni informiert.
Alle Parkberechtigten haben für den Zeitraum der Baumaßnahme zusätzliche Parkberechtigungen für die Parkplätze an der SUB und am Heinrich-Düker-Weg bekommen (siehe Foto oben). Die Zuweisung erfolgte automatisch und bedarf keiner Beantragung. Sie ist momentan auf den Zeitraum vom 20. Juli bis zum 11. Oktober 2026 beschränkt. Bitte nutzen Sie – um eine Überlastung der Ausweichparkplätze zu vermeiden – trotzdem weiterhin primär den Parkplatz beim Blauen Turm.
Während des ersten und dritten Bauabschnitts geht das Gebäudemanagement davon aus, dass die Nutzung der bereitgestellten Ersatzparkplätze nicht zwingend notwendig sein wird. Der zweite Bauabschnitt geht mit einer sehr umfangreichen Sperrung einher, wird aber nach Planung der Stadtwerke lediglich ein Wochenende dauern.
From Monday 20 July 2026, the car park at the Blaue Turm will be partially closed on a temporary basis. This is necessary due to civil engineering works being carried out by the Stadtwerke Göttingen to lay district heating pipes.
According to the current schedule, the first phase of construction will run from 20 July to 21 August 2026. The second phase is planned for the weekend of 22–23 August, and the third for the period from 24 August to 25 September. The Facilities Management team had already informed the surrounding faculties and departments at the beginning of June.
All authorised parkers have been issued with additional parking permits for the car parks at the SUB and at Heinrich-Düker-Weg for the duration of the works (see photo above). These permits were allocated automatically and do not require an application. They are currently valid for the period from 20 July to 11 October 2026. However, to avoid overcrowding of the alternative car parks, please continue to use the car park at the Blue Tower as your primary option.
During the first and third phases of construction, the Facilities Management team does not anticipate that use of the alternative car parks provided will be absolutely necessary. The second phase of construction will involve a very extensive road closure, but according to the plans, it will last for just one weekend.
