Festival in Göttingen: Pint of Science
Von der Lebenserwartung einer Zelle bis zur Geburtenkontrolle bei Insekten reicht das Themenspektrum des diesjährigen Festivals „Pint of Science“. Es findet vom 18. bis 20. Mai 2026 in vier Göttinger Kneipen statt. Wissenschaftler*innen des Göttingen Campus stellen in zehn Veranstaltungen ihre Forschung vor.
Je Veranstaltung sind zwei Vorträge in englischer oder deutscher Sprache geplant. Anschließend haben die Besucher*innen die Gelegenheit zum Austausch mit den Forscher*innen. Die Plätze sind begrenzt. Tickets kosten pro Veranstaltung 2,50 Euro und können ab sofort gebucht werden.
From the life expectancy of a cell to birth control in insects, the spectrum of topics at this year’s „Pint of Science“ festival, which will take place in four Göttingen pubs from 18 to 20 May 2026, ranges from the life expectancy of a cell to birth control in insects. Scientists from the Göttingen Campus will present their research in ten events.
Each event will feature two presentations in English or German, followed by an opportunity for dialogue. Places are limited and it is now possible to book a ticket. Tickets cost 2.50 euros per event.
