Qualifizierungsportal jetzt mit Mandantenfunktion / Professional Development Portal now with multi-client functionality (in German)

Entwickeln. Vernetzen.“ verspricht: einem Ort für unsere Weiterbildung.
Whether workshops, consultations, information sessions, or other professional development opportunities: across the university, a wide range of offerings are created to support employees in their work and professional development. With the multi-client functionality of the Professional Development Portal, providers of training and consulting services can now make their offerings visible in one shared location while managing them independently.
As a participating unit, you receive your own area within the Professional Development Portal, where you can independently organize your events and consulting services. From descriptions and scheduling to registrations and waiting lists, as well as communication with participants, all key steps remain in your hands.
The idea behind it: organize decentrally, create a unified presence. Subject-matter responsibility remains where the offerings are developed. At the same time, employees can find continuing education and professional development opportunities from different areas of the university together in one place within the Professional Development Portal.
A particular benefit for you as a participating unit: you receive data-based analyses, such as course utilization across all your offerings, the target groups participating in your programs, and your overall costs. This allows you to systematically evaluate the success of your training programs.
Five university units are already using the multi-client functionality and contributing their offerings to the portal. With each additional unit, not only does the range of offerings grow, but so does a shared space for learning and professional development at our university.
The online training session “Introduction to the Multi-Client Functionality of the Professional Development Portal” on Tuesday, 25 August 2026, from 9:30 to 10:00, will show you exactly how it works (website in German, training session in German).
Participants will learn how to navigate the portal and gain practical, hands-on experience in creating and managing events and consulting services themselves. This includes maintaining descriptions, target groups, locations, and dates, as well as managing participation through registrations, invitations, cancellations, and waiting lists.
The training is aimed at units and departments that would like to publish their own offerings for employees in the Professional Development Portal and manage them independently in the future.
After all, the more areas of the university bring their offerings together in one shared location, the easier it becomes for employees to find suitable professional development opportunities. Step by step, the Professional Development Portal is becoming what “Learn. Develop. Connect.” promises: a shared hub for our continuing education.
